| Presentation of recent trip to Nicaragua with Witness for Peace, includes Pacific NW coordinator, information, and how to make a difference, particularly in lobbying about NAFTA and CAFTA.This trip was in late June, early July. It included background, history, and economics of Nicaragua. The highlight and best insight was a week homestay on the island of Ometepe in Lake Nicaragua. The purpose, besides social justice, was to learn about health care, education, and farming. |
