DetailsAbout
Creativity for Empowerment - EVS Ghana 2009 will be an important moment to exchange young people from Europe, North America and Ghana to strengthen global solidarity through creative intercultural dialogue activities. All together there will be 10 local volunteers who will partner with 20 foreign nationals. They will group children from the selective villages in Ghana into groups and train them with their talents and also organize creative workshops for the 350 children with fewer opportunities and empower them to develop their talents. The workshops and the training are part of the summer youth program, held in Greater Accra Region & Western Region all in Ghana from 26th July- 31st August 2009 and will mainly focus on areas such us: drama, dancing (all forms), poetry recitals, paintings/drawing, swimming, acrobatics, singing and workshops on global issues.
