Youth Perspectives in Creative Policy Making.
We believe that developing youth leadership and participation is essential for democracy. The youth of Zimbabwe is a traditionally unrepresented sector of society. Youth Career Development envisages empowering students to become more engaged in critical economic, political and social issues.
Some of the topics that will be explored are:
-How can youth become intelligent and responsible participants in policy making?
-How can student bodies/organizations participate in policy formation?
-What are the benefits and potential obstacles of such participation?
-Do more young men participate in policy issues than women?
If so, what can be done to bridge this gap?
