Changes Rover Crew a youth led organisation under Kiambu Scouts Local association has been selected as a local organizer in Kenya. The organisation has therefore partnered with Ministry of Youth and sports, ministry of health, other youth led groups and faith based organizations in organising a one week expedition camp from 19th to 26th April 2009.

During this camp 360 youth volunteers will collectively participate and engage in community service in all six Divisions of Kiambu East and Kiambu West Districts. About 3000 more youth who will not be a part of the expedition team are expected to join in the activities in their locality.
The activities will include clean ups, tree planting and community sensitization on HIV/AIDS. The climax of the event will be marked by making a donation to Hosanna children’s home for the orphaned.
The expedition team will be flagged off by the permanent Secretary in the ministry of youth on Sunday 19th April 2009 at Madaraka Gardens- Kiambu. After a procession in Kiambu town the team will head to Kiambaa Division, the first camping station.
In each division a scouts’ rover unit will host the team and will coordinate activities as follows:
