Program Format
In order to maximize the capacity of the event it will be composed of the following:
* Macro discussion through PANEL DISCUSSIONS. Panel Discussions is a format where a group of panelists under a moderator presents specific topics related to the general theme. Panelists are given a total of 1 hour to present, then an open forum of 30 minutes follow afterwards.
* BREAK-OUT SESSION after the Panel Discussions to give a general learning on the topic. The break-out session is designed to provide learning based on the panel discussions. It is a workshop and interactive learning among participants.
* SIMULTANEOUS LEARNING SESSIONS to develop specific learning and focus groups for WCYF. Each working group will be composed of a maximum of 20 participants only with a minimum of 2 facilitators per group. The total time for this is 10 hours. The Simultaneous Learning Session serves as the area for participants to learn more about the specific theme and give them with a deeper and focused understanding. It will also serve as their focus group for the rest of the forum.
* PLENARY PRESENTATION. Presentation of output to the plenary to form part of the WCYF Agenda and post event objectives.
* EXHIBITS – a session for 'sponsors' advertising their programs or products. The exhibitor’s products/services/advocacies needs to be in tune with the theme of the event. We might charge a registration fee for the exhibitor depending on the type of exhibitor. Suggested exhibitors includes companies, cause oriented groups and others.
* FREE TIME - complete one free day after the conference, before departure (with this we will assure that participants will be focused on conference and that they will not take free day during conference)
Sustainability
Once the event ended we must ensure that learning made during the vent will not just end at the end of WCF. Through the website, database and recommendation implementation sustainability should and can be ensured. |
