Come and join us at one of the largest student-run sustainability fairs in Ontario on April 3rd at SidSmith!
The Sustainable Energy Fair will showcase ideas about our first steps towards a sustainable energy future through interactive and exciting exhibits from student groups, community organizations, companies, and researchers. Participants will be educated on the consequences of today’s energy use patterns, the challenges posed by the coming transition, and the impact of their individual choices.
Join us at the kick-off at 10:30 a.m. with special guests from the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, and U of T's own Centre for the Environment! Then explore the booths and fun activities set up by student groups, industry representatives, and research projects on the east and west patios. Try out a segway ride, too! Yummy vegetarian food will be offered!
We're looking for volunteers to help us out with pre-fair activities as well as various tasks on the day of the fair! |
