Ecology Ottawa and the Living Lightly project are hosting the "Spring into Action! Visions of Living Lightly" film screening and competition on Saturday, April 4th, 1:00-4:00pm at the National Library and
Archives Canada. David Chernushenko's solution-based film "Be the Change," will be shown along with a competition of short video responses by local aspiring filmmakers.
We're looking for Ottawa filmmakers to submit their videos for the contest! Please forward this along to your contacts.
Contest entries may be of documentary or dramatic style and they must be 2 to 5 minutes in length. Entries may be in French, English, or both. During the screenings, judges from both the filmmaking and
environmental communities will determine the first place winner of each age category (under 25 and over 25) and the audience will vote for their favourite. All contest entries must be submitted via the
website www.livinglightly.ca/video-contest/ by March 18, 2009. |
