Visions of Science Network for Learning is seeking your assistance in making Visions Week 2009 a great SUCCESS. We are inviting you to come out and contribute to a great cause and to fantastic events happening from May 2nd 2009 to May 9th 2009 in order to celebrate and promote Science to the Greater Toronto Area Community.
Events include:
May 2nd - "Tomorrow Now" Science Fair for Elementary and High School Students at Ryerson University. Need help managing the event and also for judging the elementary school projects - Seeking approximately 40 volunteers
May 4th to May 8th - Visions in the City Speaker Series - Need Undergraduates, Graduate Students and even Faculty who are interested in giving a 45 minute presentation on a Topic in Science at a local public school - Seeking as many volunteers as we can get.
May 9th: We are running two events:
1. 18th Annual Science Symposium at University of Toronto - Need help in managing the event - Seeking approximately 50 volunteers.
2. Ryerson's Science Rendezvous Activities - Help manage the experiments being run by VoSNL at the event - Seeking 16 volunteers.

PLEASE NOTE that You DONT have to available on all the days listed in the application to help out. We will appreciate you coming out even for just one of the days and even for just a few hours.

P.S. Reference letters are provided upon request. Also, all summer positions offered by our partners are circulated to our symposium volunteers (Ex. Ontario Science Centre, etc).
