COP stands for Conference of the Parties. It is the highest body of the United Nations Climate Change Convention and consists of environment ministers who meet once a year to discuss the convention’s developments.
Read more about the COP15 or visit the of the convention’s secretariat at UN Climate Change Convention (UNFCCC)
It is expected that ministers and officials from 192 countries will take part. In addition, there will be participants from a large number of organisations including TakingITGlobal.
