DetailsAbout
Microsoft Regional Innovative Teachers' Forum showcases the most creative and passionate teachers from the Asia-Pacific region and their projects that aim to improve the education of (mainly) secondary school students through the use of technology. The countries involved this year include New Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam. A winner from each country is selected to attend the Global forum to be held later in November.

This year is the first year that students have been able to participate in this forum. Named the Innovative Students' Forum (#isf09), 15 students are chosen from specific online discussion on TIG to attend , along with 3 mentors and TIG staff.

This event is sponsored by Microsoft Corporation, Ministry of Education Malaysia and TakingITGlobal.
