DetailsAbout
Discussions at this Policy dialogue will be centred around two documentaries that were produced by FIDUCIARE Media titled ‘The Supreme Court, First Fifty Years’ and ‘The Court of Appeal, 30 and 2 years: The Journey so far’.
The purpose of this meeting is to bring together experienced minds that have worked with these two courts over the course of time, or analyzed its outputs and reviewed its impacts on public governance to discuss the role that both Courts have played through decisions they have reached.
The Policy dialogue will also examine how the interventions of the Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal have affected the polity and can reshape Nigeria judging from their antecedents as well as the strategic position they occupy in Nigeria’s democratic process.
