Girls empowerment network is inviting all girls to a skill building and talent display activities. The purpose of this function is to encourage, inspire and motivate girls to discover their worthiness and to build skills that power GIRLS with confidence and courage to make wise choices.
The workshop will have a brain storming sessions facilitated by eminent resource persons on the sub topics apart from skill displaying sessions. There will also be a testimony session from girl achievers including a girl living positively with HIV/Aids.
Issues that will be tackled include HIV/Aids, gender, abuse, rights, education and development.
The occassion will be graced by Honorable Minister Patricia Kaliati MP and a renowed singer Ethel Kamwendo Banda who will also give their testimony on how they made it snd how they overcome the socio-cultural pressures.
on the skill display, girls from Blantyre have prepared to display their talent and skills and this includes; acrobat, concert, drama, singing and many more.
