DetailsAbout
"Comedy for a Cause" is a comedy fundraiser for the Kenya Ceramic Project, a humanitarian project in Kenya (www.kenyanceramics.org). This project involves training locals to make and distribute ceramic water filters and high efficiency stoves that were developed by a group of medical students working with experts at the University of Alberta.

The project has been ongoing since 2006 and youth have been sent to Kenya for the past three summers to continue the work there. We would like to invite you to our hilarious fundraiser at the Comic Strip on Thursday Aug 6th, doors open at 7 pm (show at 8pm). Tickets are $15, and there will be a silent auction with exciting items. We will also be issuing out tax receipts for donations of greater than $20 through the University of Alberta.
