Bookings, Cancellation, Payment and Refunds Policy:
Expression of interest to participate in the 2010 WYEF-WYEA International Leadership Conference must be sent via email to wyea@wyea.org or by completing the expression of interest form, which must be received by us five months prior to event – for example, all expression of interest by delegates to participate in the February 2010 conference must be received by WYEA/WYEF on or before 22nd of September 2009. Reason is to allow enough time for you to apply for the relevant travel visa.
Visa applicants must demonstrate that they meet all the legislative requirements for an Australian visa. It is strongly recommended that visa applications are lodged well in advance of a participant's intended date of travel (at least 3 months for high risk nations). For information on Business Visit Visa Options visit: www.immi.gov.au/skilled/business/business-visit-visa-options.htm
According to the Australian Government Department of Immigrations and Citizens, Business visitor visas are for business people to visit Australia for business purposes, for example, to attend a conference or training session, to conduct business with an Australia-based organisation, to conduct business negotiations or for an exploratory business visit.
Furthermore, as a result of the limited number of slots available for delegates per each event month (20 people per conference) and the high volume of interest we are receiving, the expression of interest letter/form will give you a better chance of securing an offer to attend the conference. Therefore, express yourself succinctly in the expression of interest form or email: tell us about yourself, your organization, the conference date you wish to book, confirmation of your assurance to pay the conference fees in compliance with the 'Bookings, Cancellation, Payment and Refunds Policy' above, and what you intend to achieve by attending the conference.
Visit this link to complete the expression of interest form: http://worldyouth1.tripod.com/id28.html
Registrations must be paid no later than four months prior to the event month booked. Full registration fee is refundable if notice of cancellation is received more than two months prior to event month booked. 50% of the registration fee is refundable if notice of cancellation is received more than one month prior to the event month booked; NO REFUND is available where notice of cancellation is received less than one month prior to the event month booked. It is possible to transfer registration between event months however; NOTICE OF TRANSFER TO ANOTHER EVENT MONTH MUST BE RECEIVED MORE THAN TWO MONTHS PRIOR TO THE EVENT MONTH PREVIOUSLY BOOKED.
Payment Options: Cheque / Money Order, Electronic Funds Transfer, Credit Card
The final step of the registration / order process lets you choose your payment method contained in an invoice that would be provided to you via email after we have received your expression of interest.
