After certifying the quick Magnification of risks of the HIV and AIDS diffusion in the land of Haiti, we judge necessary to go over the youth communities to inform them as quickly as possible, to look forward avoiding facing kinds of deceases, even with partial skills. So, this virus is racing in the youth middle, and doesn’t want to stop, now, the young people are facing the HIV and AIDS’ reality as well as other kinds of diseases.
We will recruit 6 trainers to bring skills on HIV and AIDS prevention and Church special events, Evangelization related services as well as environment protection. This camp will foster the life of about, more than 250 young people. Train those youth, is, bring right responses to the youth in the community to keep them away from kinds of Sexual Transmissible Infections. To facilitate the best going of the Camp, and to better foster the training, we choose two from three protection methods: Sexual Abstinence and faithfulness to each others.
MAIN GAOL
The goal of the training is to decrease or/and avoid broadcasting of the HIV and AIDS virus in Haiti, especially in Pignon area.
SPECIFIC GOALS
A travers les objectifs spécifiques, on vise particulièrement à:
- Train and inform the youths to better face the AIDS notion ;
- Inform the youths the way to avoid risks of children contaminations
- Promote the bad influence of the stigmatization in the transmission of the infection.
- Identify HIV and AIDS and STI related risks as well as ways to face involuntary sexual intercourse.
- Identify the best methods to prevent HIV and AIDS and other STI.
- Create workshops
- Promote the useful of condomns
EQUALITY BETWEEN MEN AND WOMEN
The nature of the training will foster the equality between, Men and Women. The MST is regarding sexes, men and women. So, women must also, train and inform the same as the men. As young activists, subjects and activities will integrally affect both sexes.
IMPACT EVALUATION ON THE ENVIRONMENT
This training is concerning the STI and HIV and AIDS, and it is also bringing a positive impact for the community environment as well as bringing skills for sustainable development. CCRON/CCABA will bring adequate education skills to educate consequent young people, because, as much as the young people are better educated, better sensible, better trained and better informed; they will as much as protect their immediate environment, because they will know that, protecting their environment is protecting their own life.
LODGING AND ACCOMODATION FOR PARTICIPANT
The organizer will provide food for those coming from the Rural communities, specially, Lajeune – Pignon participants.
Those, coming out from out of the North parts of Haiti, will arrange their own lodging and accommodations; organizer will only be able to lead them to better have special way to accommodate. For information, contact the organizer, (CCRON/CCABA).
