| Starting just before the New Year, volunteers from around the world will be congregating in Akotokyir, just north of Cape Coast, to implement the "Stop Malaria Now" campaign. We will be distributing mosquito nets to needy families identified during our summer health camp. The mosquito nets will provide immediate support, while we work with local schools to update the health curricula. Finally, this campaign will provide a platform to register villagers for the National Health Insurance Scheme in Ghana, creating a long-term presence in the area to continue the battle against malaria. |
