DetailsAbout
This is Village Square Meeting (5) one among a series that we began in January 2009.This time it on the topic "Deepening Democracy in Nigeria." Its a workshop like gathering but in a relaxed African style so that most people present are able to air their views on the issue at hand.

At this gathering intends to beam light on the current state of democracy in Nigeria exploring on the one hand the inherent problems of the country's democracy and on the other suggesting short and long term solutions that would bring about institutional development, credible transition from one government to another, the entrenchment of democratic values and put the country on the part of sustainable development.
