| The idea of the EYC 2003 emerged out of the need for communication and cooperation between the young and parent generations in the issues related to sustainability. For five days the conference will bring together 100 young opinion leaders from all over Europe. During the first three days they will work out their visions and aims for an inter-generationally just and sustainable Europe. These issues will be discussed in 8-10 study groups where the young Europeans will formulate concrete ideas and demands towards the older generations. On the fourth day the participants will have the opportunity to discuss the results through inter-generational dialogues with 50 political decision makers from the parent- and grandparent generation. On the last day the participants will find conclusions out of these dialogues and compile a draft proposal for |
