Who?
Youth between the ages of 14-24 who are interested in learning more about the Friendship Centre Movement and the Aboriginal Youth Council (AYC). To vote at the elections you must have credentials from a local friendship centre or Provincial Aboriginal Youth council.
What?
Participants will have the chance to discuss issues important to Aboriginal youth and their communities. Youth will have the opportunity to go home with more tools and skills to assist in youth development and leadership. Along the way participants will learn more about the Friendship Centre Movement, the NAFC and the AYC and how to get more involved. So come and meet more youth from across the country!
The Annual Volleyball tournament is always lots of fun! Come to play or cheer on your province!
Where?
The National Youth Forum will be held at the Fairmont Winnipeg.
The Annual Volleyball Tournament will be held on Monday,
July 25, 2011 at Grand Beach.
When?
Registration for The National Youth Forum begins at 9:00 am on Sunday, July 24th
and ends in the afternoon of Tuesday, July 26th, 2011.
How much is it?
Registration fees are as follows:
Early Bird (before May 14, 2010) - $25/person
Regular (May 17-June 25, 2010) - $35/person
Late (after June 25, 2010) - $40/person
Why should I attend?
The NAFC and AYC believe that Great Leaders Start Young. This is your chance to come and make your voice heard and learn a lot along the way!
