The themes to be discussed at the Forum are:
* Education for sustainable development, in particular freshwater management;
* Youth and HIV/AIDS: preventive education;
* UNESCO and young people: ways and means of communication and cooperation.
The Forum will be composed of youth delegates (under 30 years of age) representing Member States (in average 2 per country), the majority of which are members of youth organizations. It will close with a final plenary meeting, which will adopt a report reflecting the young people's ideas on selected priorities within the themes proposed. This report will be presented, in UNESCO's six official languages, to the General Conference and be discussed in its opening plenary. |
