RE: INVITATION TOWARDS A 3 DAY PEACE CRUSADE CULMINATING TO A GRAND CONCERT
HOPE ALIVE KENYA INITIATIVE AND BIG BROTHER INITIATIVE in collaboration with The District Peace Committees- Kisumu County, which is a non- governmental organization with a human Rights and governance issues, is planning to hold a 3 day peace crusade which will culminate to a grand concert.
The initiative seeks to mobilize the community more so youths in the slums of Nyalenda, Nyamasaria, Bandani, Otonglo, Kondele, Manyatta, Kisumu town and surrounding, through a music extravaganza in there respective areas while preaching peace.
The activity main intention is to escalate peace building processes in Kenya by increasing its status as an international concern and a recipe for security before and after elections.
The youths of these areas have in conjunction with the organization, planned to support the AMANI JUKUMU LETU CONCERT that will take place on the 19th to 21st April 2012.
The peace fatality in the county of Kisumu led by Hope Alive Kenya Initiative, Big Brother Initiative KINOYDEN and District peace Committees have planned to mark the 3 day peace preaching extravaganza by involving nationally recognized Kenyan artists in preaching peace in the major slums of Kisumu for the first 2 days and on the last day hold a grand concert that will comprehensively preach the message of peace and urge youths to embrace the same.
In connection to the above, the district peace committee-Kisumu County, on behalf of the organizing team, are requesting for your support on any of the budgeted items as your finance will allow us to hold a successful event and ensure that we effectively preach the message of peace.
