| The Workshop on Stigmatization is an event which is part of a six months project title,Akuse Prison Project (Incarceration for Change). The prison which is to reform prisoners is seen to be doing the opposite in many parts of the world;Ghana is no exception. The purpose of this project is to solve this problem and promote the proper reformation of prisoners. The project has three broad components. A workshop on stigmatization of prisoners where the whole community will be involved, the second is counselling session with the prison inmates and finally to construct a Mushroom and Grasscutter farm in the prisoners for the female inmates so as to generate income for them whilst still in prison. |
