| The THIMUN Youth Assembly is an international youth think-tank. Young people from all over the world come together to discuss and analyse global problems and explore innovative solutions. The outcome is reported in the Action Papers. These Action Papers are then either implemented by the THIMUN Youth Network or other organisations, or used as input for the youth caucuses at international conferences. They are also sent to the United Nations Secretary General and other international organisations. The Youth Assembly provides young visionaries with the opportunity to broaden their horizons by interacting with other youths from different cultural, academic and professional backgrounds. Parallel to this, TYA serves to build upon youths' understanding of problems facing our world today. Applications are invited from young people aged 16 - 25. The conference takes place in The Hague once a year parallel to the THIMUN conference during the last week of January. |
