LEARNING AND RESPECT BETWEEN YOUNG PEOPLE FROM DIFFERENT CULTURES

The scourge of HIV/AIDs has become a threat to this generation because the epidemic is mainly ranging the productive age from 15-30 years of age. Recently, it was discover that more than one million Nigerians are infected with the virus and 30% are children who inherited it from their offspring.
However, the scourge has long been identified in both rural and urban areas. The Nigeria television Authority (NTA) recently aired an event that 39 secondary school students were tested and 19 were positive of the virus. This is already a signal that this generation may go into extension of the spread if no serious measure is taken into consideration to curb this scourge. Furthermore, the Nigerian Youth/Student is face with lots of frustration, which has made them aimless in life. The rate at which Nigerian Youth/Student are involved in crimes, such as political thugs, arm robbery, drug abuse, women and child trafficking, is at the extreme, the apex.
THE GOALS:
1. Promotes good health among the student/youth by creating awareness of the prevention and reduction of HIV/AIDS and other Sexually Transmitted Diseases (STDs)
2. Educates, promotes and encourage the youth/student to participate actively in politics, job opportunities and international issues that bother them.
THE OBJECTIVES:
1. Arrange and facilitate the awareness of HIV/AIDS among the participants.
2. Develop a framework for addressing the scourge and their related diseases.
3. Facilitate information in exchange and organizational strategy for prevention and gainful employment.
4. Reduce the menace caused by the youth/student in the society.
5. Provide an enabling environment between those that are infected and those not infected and the reason while those not infected need to show love.
6. Enlighten the youth/student on the creation of managerial skill, integrated rural development and employment.
7. Decrease the political instability, communal clashes, cultism, and religious crisis among youth/student.
