8 - Norwegian North-South Youth Summit on the UN Millennium Development Goals (EN)
The meeting is sponsored by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and will take place at Kronen Gaard Hotel (www.kronen-gaard.no ), Sandnes, Norway, from Jan 9th - 12th. Speakers will be present from the UNDP and the World Bank.
New is that all applicants are encouraged to submit a 1 page project draft that you would like to carry out on the MDGs, together with your motivation statement. It can be anything from setting up a youth council, to an HIV clinic for young people, to a social volunteering program at an army base.

The form should be e-mailed to post@withvision.org as soon as possible. All places will be allocated on a first-come, first served basis.
Participation fee:
- Western Europe: EUR100
- Other: EUR 40
Travel and participation fee grants are available to a limited extent. If needed, you should mention this in your motivation statement, with accurate information of
1)how much you would be able to contribute towards your own costs from family or personal funds
2)other sources of funding (specifically mention any attempts at fundraising
3)contribution from organisation (where applicable).
