The CommonWealth Youth Forum serves as a pre-cursor to the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meetings (CHOGM), which are held every two years in a different Commonwealth country to enable the 54 Commonwealth leaders to discuss and reach consensus about world issues. The next CHOGM is being held in Abuja, Nigeria from 5- 8 December, 2003.
The Commonwealth Youth Forum enables young people to gather to develop recommendations for the Heads of Government regarding priorities for development and collaboration, particularly with regards to youth.
