At this three day conference, member states, civil society and private sector reps and others dialogued on issues surrounding development funding. Key ideas that were brought up included accountability, transparency, conditionality and resource mobilization. Many of the developing nations focussed on the need to address the lack of basic human rights resulting from lack of development funding while some of the financing instutions, such as the IMF and developed nations commented on the lack of resources and management of funds. Transparency of process and accountability of the World Bank, IMF and WTO were brought up at several points as well.
