The ISC-Symposium is held annually at the Campus of the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. Over 600 top level managers, scientists and politicians gather during the "3 Days in May" to discuss global developments and important issues of the present and the future with 200 students from all over the world. Amongst recent speakers and attendants of the ISC-Symposium have been distinguished individuals such as Lord Marshall of Knightsbridge, Christine Lagarde, Helmut Panke or Romano Prodi. The 34th ISC-Symposium will be held from May 13-15, 2004 in St. Gallen under the General Topic "The Challenges to Growth and Prosperity".
By participating in the ISC Wings of Excellence Award you have the chance to become one of the 200 selected students that will be invited to the 34th ISC-Symposium. The Award is announced by the International Students' Committee (ISC) at 600 universities worldwide. Enter the competition by either handing in an essay, a scenario, an entrepreneurial concept, a multimedia presentation or any other form of professional work. Your contributions should stimulate thoughts and actions, describe a new approach or outline an unconventional or provocative hypothesis. They must relate to the general topic ("The Challenges to Growth and Prosperity") and can be composed in English, French or German. Deadline for your contribution is February 2, 2004 (date of postmark). The ISC Wings of Excellence Award, endowed with USD 15,000, will be prized to extraordinary entries. Winners will be given the opportunity to present their work at the ISC-Symposium.
