The Intellectual Group in collaboration with Friends help Friends is planning to celebrate the world aids day witha unique HIV/AIDS awareness campaign which is in four stages.
1. Red ribbon campaign. This would see 9000 red ribbons stacked on the dresses of young people across Ogbomoso especially in the university community of Lautech
2. AIDS rag rally. The AIDS rag rally is an awareness rally round Ogbomoso township with over 16 stop overs including 8 secondary schools. The rally is with a simple message- HIV/AIDS is real.
3.live and let Live seminar. The live and let live seminar hopes to bring together 1200 students to attend and listen to the undiluted interactive message that AIDS is real. It affortds them the opportunity to ask burning questions, also PLWHA's would be present to share their experience.
4.Stay Alive concert. In rounding up the whole day program, a special free concert has been scheduled to hold at 1200 lecture theatre in Lautech. The concert features both local and foreign upcoming artist |
