| The initiative pleads for a Global Marshall Plan for reaching a world-wide eco-social market economy. The processes of co-financing in exchange for social and ecological standards, like practiced by the EU in the enlargement process, play an important role in the concept. The Global Marshall Plan initiative is supported by a broad alliance of members of NGOs, private enterprise, politicians and the civil society. The first aim is to reach the implementation of a European Union counseling body for the development of a global Marshall Plan. |
