The Second Session of the International Conference on National Youth Policy will be on "Youth Participation in Development". This is a 3-day conference in the form of an international expert meeting and will bring together approximately 100 participants from:
1) Governmental Ministries responsible for Youth,
2) youth NGOs,
3) experts, researchers and practical youth workers,
4) IGOs/UN agencies,
5) development agencies and
6) media etc.
The format will consist of keynote speakers and paper presenters in plenary and discussions in working groups each day, and the agenda now being planned will include issues such as: youth participation, youth policy and governance, youth participation, education and ICT, youth participation and employment, hunger and poverty, youth participation and health, youth participation and youth service, and youth participation, youth philanthrophy and development aid. The exact agenda and details costs etc will be announced in February 2004.
