| A campaign co-initiated by about 25 international organizations including UN Volunteer Corps, UN Youth Development Commission, US Peace Corps, Youth Serves USA, IAVE, World Bank, etc., the Global Youth Service Day aims to encourage the youth¡¦s involvement in community service. On behalf of the Taiwan government, NYC has applied for Taiwan¡¦s participation of this global-scale campaign. The NYC is hosting a press conference to call for program proposals for the 2001 Global Youth Service Day campaign, scheduled on April 26-28, 2002. |
