A premier event for over 20 years, the Dalhousie Business Conference (DBC) is poised to achieve unprecedented success in 2004. This year's conference will be held in conjunction with the Undergraduate Business Games, a national event that brings together students from 24 Canadian universities. An audience of 1,000 students, professionals, and business educators will greet guest speakers at DBC 2004.
Theme
DBC is organized to reflect a different theme each year. This year's theme is Business and Government: The Question of Regulation. The conference will examine government involvement in a number of key industries. What level of regulation and participation in each sector is right for Canadian federal and provincial governments? A diverse group of distinguished guest speakers will share insights and expertise.
Venue
Located in the heart of Halifax's business community, Casino Nova Scotia and Hotel is an exciting location for corporate events. The venue includes over 26,000 square feet of meeting and exhibition space and features breathtaking views of historic Halifax Harbour.
Easily accessible via pedway from many downtown office buildings, Casino Nova Scotia and Hotel also features convenient parking and dining options.

DBC 2004 is designed to let attendees design their own conference. At various times during the day, attendees may choose between guest speakers in the Nova Scotia Ballroom or the Schooner Room. |
