To celebrate youth creativity and community involvement, we are holding Global Youth Day. We are following in the creative footsteps of TakingITGlobal and organizing the event under 3 themes:
1. INSPIRE: come and see the inspiring photos, artwork, theatre, and community projects that youth in our community are working on! Also hear local youth bands perform at an evening concert!
2. INFORM: have the opportunity to learn more from inspirational youth speakers, interactive workshops.
3. INVOLVE: meet members of local organizations that are looking for youth involvement and support in their work. Sign on to local and global social and environmental justice campaigns. Also meet some very cool international programs that are recruiting youth volunteers to live and learn in other countries. |
