Dwell in the sights, sounds, and tastes of Africa for one evening in the middle of Bavaria! The "Africa Team" from Strollendorf - Steffi, Thomas and Helmut, will be presenting their experiences from a 10-day visit to the Virginia M. Buena Memorial Center for the Needy in Nakuru, Kenya with a short film, many dias, African music, food and drinks, and lots of information. They will also be selling wooden figures, jewelry and cards from Nakuru. 100% of all funds taken in will go to Leben und Lernen in Kenia e.V. (Live and Learn in Kenya NGO) to help fund the construction of the orphanage at the Virginia M. Buena Memorial Center for the Needy in Nakuru.

Working together with the NGO Learning and Development Kenya, the german-based organization - Live and Learn in Kenya - is building an entire Center in the heart of the Rhonda slums in Nakuru, Kenya. It is already called "The Miracle of the Rhonda Slums" by the residents.
