The mission of Hungry4Change II is to bring together and network active, radical and interested youth to learn and discuss issues of social justice, as well as grassroots youth activism. The summit will take place April 29th - May 2nd, 2004.
Last May, Stir it Up, Toronto Environmental Alliance's Youth Caucus and Youth Action Network held a weekend long conference (Hungry4Change), which was a very successful event. This year, we have decided to expand the vision and framework of the conference.
The Hungry4Change Organizing Collective includes the Art Gallery of Ontario's Teen Council, the Canadian Federation of Students, Five Minutes to Midnight, Stir It Up, Students United, TakingitGlobal, the Toronto Youth Cabinet, the United Nations Association in Canada , Toronto Region Branch, and the Youth Action Network. |
