Four days of meetings with young people from around the world, NGOs related to the United Nations, and United Nations staff on the work of the U.N. now and its plans for the future - especially concerning youth and the involvement of young people in future programming.
Plenaries, workshops, summit talks, receptions, parties, and local tours are planned as part of the conference events. This event is the first in a series.
A small number of young people will also beinvited to join in a special leadership summit at the end in the beautiful Wainwright House retreat, Westchester County. WainwrightHouse is affiliated with the United Nations and is right on the water in a parklike setting.
U.N. conference events (only) are free and by invitation through application, only.
* All travel, meals, and related events must be paid for by the participants themselves; there are no subsidies available. The
conference itself is free of charge, but the Weekend in New York, the Wainwright House Leadership Conference and all
