The United Nations Human Assetlements Program (UN-HABITAT) in parthnership by Nuevo Leon Goverment and the Monterrey City Municipality will be host at the "II International Conference on Youth at Risk, Strong Families, Caring Community and Inclusive Cities: The Latin america and the Caribbean experience".
The conference will be conducted in Spanish and English and will bring together representatives of local authorities, municipal officials, civil society organisations working with youth at risk, experts, police, magistrates and youth leaders. The total number of participants is expected to be 130 persons. These will include at least a maximum of 30 participants from Monterrey, 25 from other cities in Mexico, about 40 from the Safer Cities networks, partner networks (YES, IADB, UNODC, World Bank) and projects in Latin America and the Caribbean, and four or five experts from other regions. |
