| The World Peace Music Awards concert will take place in the Vietnamese capital Hanoi on June 26 to honor Rock stars from the Vietnam War era. The concert will last over 5 hours in dedication to worldwide famous artists who contribute to the struggle for World Peace such as Joan Baez ( with the hit " We shall overcome"), Peter Paul & Mary, BOb Dyland, Country Joe McDonald and the home artist Trinh Cong Son,whose song "lullaby" was a hit in 1969. This is the most spectacular music event in Vietnam so far with the presence of over 300 famous artists from 25 countries all over the world. Part of the proceeds will be given to children stricken with the dioxide disease and female ex-soldiers. |
