The National Youth Commission will be holding The 5th National Youth
Parliament (NYP) on October 27-29, 2004 in Legaspi City.
A parallel initiative to this program, is the launching of The Call for
Youth Studies that will highlight research papers (thesis/dissertations
or case studies) focusing on six (6) youth policy issues namely
Education, Employment, Health, Values, Youth Participation and Youth with
Special Needs.
Delegates to the Parliament will present their chosen research papers
that they believe would have significant contributions to the
improvement or the youth sector and provide avenues for continues research and
development.
In line with this, may we invite your organization to take part in
these endeavors and also request from your respective research policy
divisions to assist us by providing our office a list of research papers
related to the youth policy issues identified above for inclusion in our
data base.
Attached are the primers of the 5th NYP and the call for Youth Studies
for your reference.
