Over 100 young people will be coming together for one week of intensive leadership training and social issue awareness from expert facilitators and speakers. Participants will develop their skills in public speaking, time management, team building, working with the media, negotiations and more. Participants will also attend sessions on hunger, war-affected children, child labour and other issues affecting children in our world. At the end of the week, the group will be developing action plans to take back to their schools and communities to implement to make our world a better place for all.
Youth will have the opportunity to establish friendships with peers from across North America and overseas in a positive, caring environment.
At Leaders Today and Free the Children, we believe that youth are the "generation that we have been waiting for!" |
