Specific issues that the Open Forum will focus on:
The TIG Open Forum proposed is designed to spread and to analyze in groups the MDG's in the context of Argentina, as well as to facilitate the sharing of experiences with the aim of fortify the work of the young people in the way of fulfillment of these goals.

El "Espacio Abierto Juvenil" propuesto está diseñado para difundir y analizar en grupos los Objetivos de Desarrollo del Milenio en el contexto argentino, así como también facilitar el intercambio de experiencias con el objeto de fortalecer el trabajo de los jóvenes en pos del alcance de esas metas.
Rationale for holding this Open Forum:
A greater diffusion of these objectives at level of the population, a greater involvement of the civil society in the different phases of implementation of public policies on MDG’s and, specially, the appropriation of these goals by young people are key elements for approach the hoped results.
The potential of the youth voluntary service in order to contribute to the to reach of the MDG’S cannot be underestimated.
It is for that reason that the Open Forum proposed is a propitious instance to spread, to generate conscience and appropriation, and to analyze and to debate with a young vision the MDG’s in the post crisis context of Argentina of today.

Una amplia difusión de estos objetivos entre la población, un mayor involucramiento de la sociedad civil en las diferentes fases de la implementación de políticas públicas en torno a los ODM's y, especialmente, la apropiación de esos objetivos por parte de la juventud son elementos claves para el alcance de los resultados esperados.
El potencial del voluntariado juvenil para contribuir al logro de los ODM's no puede ser desestimado y mucho menos ignorado.
Es por ello, que el Espacio Abierto Juvenil propuesto es una instancia propicia para difundir, concientizar, generar apropiación y analizar y debatir con una visión joven los Objetivos de Desarrollo del Milenio en el actual contexto de una Argentina post crisis.
Goals the organizer hopes to achieve by holding this Open Forum for youth in the community:
- To raise awarness on the MDG’s
- To facilitate the work in groups for the analysis of the MDG’s, its importance and its progress at local level.
- Raise Awareness about the importance of to reach the MDG’s in the country.
- To cause the appropriation of those objectives on the part of the young people.
- To connect youths and his/her experiences.
- To debate on the roll of youths in the local development: To identify proposals of action and/or contributions with which youths can be committed to affect the reach of the MDG’s (social projects, advocacy, campaigns of information, etc.)

- Difundir los Objetivos de Desarrollo del Milenio;
- Facilitar el trabajo en grupos para analizar los ODM's, su importancia y sus progresos en el país.
- Concientizar sobre la importancia de alcanzar los ODM's en Argentina.
- Promover la apropiación de estos objetivos por parte de la juventud.
- Conectar a los jóvenes y a sus experiencias.
- Debatir el rol de las y los jóvenes en el desarrollo local, identificando propuestas de acción y/o contribuciones que la juventud puede hacer al logro de los ODM's (proyectos sociales, advocacy, campañas de información, etc.) |
