Egypt has shown the world that it is ready and willing to be a major player in the international marketplace, while international players have reacted through impressive capital inflows which have triggered impressive growth in its capital markets. The objective of attracting international capital inflows requires a clear understanding of the nature of the international marketplace. Capital has transcended the artificial confines of geographic borders, and companies and their executives are more formidable than the status from which they first emerged.
