Rahala is an Egyptian music band, led by Hosaam Shaker (playing Qanoon- an Egyptian stringed musical instrument - Rahala play world music Sufi music mixed with Egyptian ethnic rhythms, blues & jazz).
Their Sufi music will put u in a very meditating mood, with the sounds of Qanoon, nay (flute-like wind musical instrument) mixed with double-bass & piano. Rahala as a world music band has lots of audience all over Europe as they played in Europe – especially Germany where they recorded their music – but unfortunately they still need lots of media attention to get through to the Egyptians and they still on their way. So for all the people in Cairo - Egypt, here's a chance to listen to a new trend Egyptian music, so make sure to enjoy your time at the concert insha’allah, and tell me what you think.
