The Lucca Leadership Trust will take place from 03 - 11 Sept 2005 and 11 - 19 June 2005.
The aim of the Lucca Leadership Trust is to teach young people between the ages of 16-28 from all nations of the world, all economic and social backgrounds, and all religious and philosophical beliefs, how to lead positive transformation for the benefit of their societies. All young people are born with unique talents and the ability to make a difference to the world. Our week-long programmes offer participants a framework to unlock this potential and develop the inner resources needed to bring about transformation. The programmes give participants the space to formulate and discuss their vision for positive change in the inspiring company of other like-minded people. The Trust believes that all true leadership is service and arises to meet a need, so the programme aims to teach more than just theory - it teaches practical skills that will enable participants to make a real difference to their community or society. It aims to give young people the confidence and ability to be able to do something about the needs they see around them, rather than just feeling helpless or overwhelmed.The Foundation Programme offers participants an introduction to transformational leadership. Participants are given the skills and ability to take the first steps in leading transformation, in whatever area they see as most necessary for themselves and their community.
