Brief Description of the Seminar:
International Youth Development Agency in cooperation with Centre for Social Studies is organizing “1st International Youth Leadership Development Seminar” in Baku, Azerbaijan during 10-12 January, 2005. The Application Form for the seminar has been enclosed. Please fill in the form and send it as soon as possible to:

Please keep in mind that sending application form earlier will start reviewing it sooner! Therefore, we invite all of you to fill them and send them as soon as possible. International Participants are required to send the forms not later than January 1, 2005.
Objectives:
• To Build change agents' characteristics by exchanging in global level
• To create opportunities for lots of traineeships, internships in well-known companies
• To develop professional skills in different social fields
• To build the path for a better career with professional tracks
• To develop leadership skills by professional tracks
• To maintain active network of youth leaders
Characteristics:
• To meet with youth leaders to share experience and ideas
• To encourage youth leaders by organizing sessions on leadership and development
• To bring several famous youth leaders to the attention of participants
• To teach the ways of getting financial assistance and grants from European Organizations
• To develop leadership skills by making different sessions
• To make several presentations, show videos on the possible ways to make changes
• To develop new techniques of acting globally
• To make presentations of different youth NGOs around the world
• To provide successful participants with “Certificate of Excellence” at the end of seminar
Participant Profile:
• Be between 16 and 26 of age (exceptions may by made on the basis of justification);
• Have ambitions and inspiration to make changes and to lead
• Be able to get actively involved in discussions and academic sessions;
• Be able to work in English;
• be committed to attend for the full duration of the course.

Costs of the Seminar:
For International Participants:
Participation Fee: $120
• Participation Fee for Attending to the Seminar
• 2 nights of stay in Hotel
• Meals - Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
• Local Transportation
• Small Breaks during the sessions
We will assist the travel arrangements of international participants. But unfortunately, for this seminar, we will not be able to finance their travel to Azerbaijan. However, we advise for the accepted International Participants to apply to Travel Grants in their home countries such as Open Society Institute.
30% percent of the participation fee should be paid upon confirmation of participation.
