| Focus: This program promotes women in leadership and scholarship by looking at how to develop and/or maintain quality leadership skills. The program focuses on the characteristics of an effective leader and continues this theme for deepening the understanding of what leadership is, noting that there is no single definition of leadership. Being an accomplished leader is often circumstantial and requires both hard work and strong interpersonal and communication skills. The course work integrates leadership characteristics, such as flexibility, responsibility, enthusiasm, integrity, and stresses the value of transformational leadership in business. |
