Organising Committee: AALIANCE INTERNATIONAL
International Youth Jam(IYJ) is a global network of youth leaders, young voluntary activist over 20 countries who advocate the youth participation and commitment to mark a difference in societies and communities around the world.
IYJ 2005 will look to construct upon the achievements of youth leaders around the world to mobilize new groups and implement fresh effectual projects to congregate the energy of young people in practical dealing with social-economical and political issues relating to the world today.
The IYJ campaign seeks to connect the opportunities for youth in serving the welfare of the planet through joining youth
organizations across the world to work towards global aspirations: gender equality, human rights, sustainable livelihoods, equity in trade, peace, environmental conservation, education & technology and cultural diversity.
The agenda of IYJ2005 focuses on five major areas: Gender equality, breaking the cycle of poverty, more youth participation in global decision and policymaking,
youth in conflict and breaking the cultural and religious barriers among youth.
