Invitation to Young people to change the world! A prep-com event to 1st African International Youth Summit. Feb 28 2005.

Abstract: Young people can make a difference and play an important role in bridging communities and shaping the delivery of local services that benefit the entire community. At AYFT, we firmly and passionately believe that young people's views need to be taken into account- both about issues which directly affect and about wider issues which may influence their future. For this to happen, they must be allowed free access to information and be encouraged to participate in the democratic process.

Against this backdrop, African Youth For Transparency (AYFT) is organizing a 3-day residential sensitization workshop geared towards building Local Youth Strategic Partnerships for Good Governance locally and globally and we are inviting local and international participants- students, youth workers and young people/groups with or without a youth leader to attend this great event in Nigeria.

Registration Details:

International Participant: $100 + Conference Materials
$50 per night for food & accommodation

Local Participants Resident: 2000 (Naira) + Conference Materials
3000 (Naira) per night for feeding & accommodation

Local Participants non Resident: 2000 (Naira) + Conference Materials
2000 (Naira) Tea break & Lunch for 3 Days
