The "Youth Action for Change" initiative is happy to inform you about our next free online course on "Youth and Social Leadership". Our courses are open to our members, to become a member simply send a blank email to

- "Youth and Social Leadership". The course will run from April 2nd through May 21st (10 weekly lectures).
This course intends to analyze the role of youth leaders in today’s society. The student will be provided with an insight about the role of individuals and the interactions between society groups. Tolerance and intolerance, exclusion and inclusion also form part of this on-line course, thus debating the degree of tolerance existing between youth. The goal is to determine the impact youths have on our current world. The influence of factors such as religion and family will also be studied in order to get a more preciise idea of what determines young people’s identity. Due to the topic and its complexity, the course will only cover the general principles of the subject.
Students are asked to hand in two documents before March 31st. These include
1. A short essay answering questions such as: What is Leadership to you? What is a Leader? When did you effectively use it? Why do you want to participate in this course?
2. A structured questionnaire
QUESTIONNAIRE
Please answer the following questions in order. Answer the questions to the best of your ability, staying true to yourself. This questionnaire will be used as a reference only. When you are done, please send this document to euphoric_youth@hotmail.com. If you fail to answer this questionnaire prior to the starting date of the course, your participation will be denied. 15. What do you believe is the most important subject matter that students should be learning in school? Do you think that education should vary based on gender?
16. What is your opinion on relationships between people of different races, religions, cultures, classes and languages?
17. In which country do you currently live? Do you consider this country to have racist and other prejudices? Why or why not?
18. What does the word “mother” mean to you?
19. What does the word “father” mean to you?
20. What do you consider to be the greatest aspect of your childhood years? What do you consider to be the greatest setback of your childhood years?
21. What does “solitude” mean to you?
22. If you were to choose three qualities that you think are indispensable for the next generation after yours, which ones would they be?
23. What are the main differences between your generation, the one before yours, and the one after yours?
24. What types of people are most appealing to you and why?
25. If you were to obtain an important role of power, what would you most be afraid of?
26. If you were to list all the people that you believe have most touched your life in a significant way, who would they be?
